Wide spectrum antibiotic (oral solution)

Composition:
Each 1 ml contains:
Ciprofloxacin 200 mg

Properties:
Characterized by quick absorption and rapid high serum concentration.
It exerts its activity by inhibiting the gyrase enzyme which is essential in the metabolism activity of the bacteria, it also damages the bacterial cell membrane, thus it is effective against bacteria resistant to other antibiotics.
Cipro-10: The effective anti-microbial and anti-infectious agent which belongs to the
fluoroquinolone group.
Has a broad spectrum antibacterial activity which covers a wide range of bacteria and
mycoplasma.
* Gm + ve bacteria: Staph, Strept. Coryne, Enterococci, anaerobic ( Clostridia spp . and
Bacteroides)
* Gm – ve bacteria: E.coli, Salmonella, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella, Chlamydia,
Pseudomonas, Actinobacillus, Proteus, Campylobacter, Citrobacter, Klebsilla, Shigella,
Haemophilus.

Indications:
Cipro-20 is a broad-spectrum antibiotic indicated for the treatment of different
infectious diseases of poultry, ruminants, and rabbits :
Colibacillosis, CRD and Mycoplasma, Coryza, Omphalitis & yolk sac infections, Fowl
Cholera, Salmonellosis, Pasteurellosis, Enterotoxemia, Enteritis and diarrhea.

Dosage:
Treatment :
Poultry: 50 – 100 ml /200 liters of drinking water for 3-5 days.
Ruminant & Rabbits:2-4 mg active ingredients/kg bodyweight in drinking water for 3-5 days

Prevention :
Half the doses for the same period.

Withdrawal period:
– Animal and poultry products should not be used during treatment and within one week from the last treatment.

Remarks:
Not to be used in water medicated with mineral salts.

Storage:
Store in dark dry places at 15 – 25o C
