Wide-spectrum antibiotic (powder)
Composition :
Each gram contains : Neomycin Sulphate 300 mg.
Properties :
1- NeoMed is an antibiotic that is active against gram negative bacteria.
2- The active ingredient is retained in the entire system for a long period of time resulting in a more effective control of bacteria.
3- Effective even in the presence of Enzymes and gastric juice .
Indications :
Recommended for the treatment of enteric infections caused by gram negative bacteria such as: E.coli, Salmonella, Klebsiella, Enterobacteria, Proteus, and Actinobacter spp that cause gastrointestinal infections.
Dosage :
– Poultry : 500g / 1000 liters of drinking water for 3 – 5 days.
– Calves : 50-100 mg / Kg body weight added to drinking water or to feed 4 – 6 days.
– In severe cases, the dose is doubled in the first two days then the treatment is extended for another two days.
Withdrawal Period :
Meat from treated animals shouldn’t be used during treatment and within 5 days from the last treatment.
